Benny is professor for psychology at the IU international university and scientifically leads the Deloitte Neuroscience Institute (DNI). He graduated as a psychologist from the Free University (FU) Berlin in 2009, where he continued to work as a PhD student in the field of neurocognitive psychology, researching on the topic of neuronal processing of affective language and also teaching courses in general psychology. After receiving his PhD, he worked for a short period of time as post-doc at the FU as well as the IPU Berlin. In mid 2015, Dr. Briesemeister changed from academia to business, founding and leading a neuroscience based market research and consulting company with a strong focus on communication as CEO. In 2017, he took over the responsibilities as scientific lead of the Deloitte Neuroscience Institute. His focus is on market research and business consulting by using implicit psychological and neuroscientific testing methodologies to predict decision-making and communication success in real world settings. Benny authored several scientific and non-scientific publications, among them two German volumes on applied neuroscience.
